Soli can never leave the House of Fang. Being a snake shifter with Starshone eyes brings too much attention. Her only reprieve from loneliness and boredom is spying on the Starshine dog shifter from the rival house next door.

It’s her secret admiration that pushes her to intervene when the Death Witch comes searching for a Starshine to make her disciple.

Ren is the only dog shifter in the House of Taildash. She works hard to keep up with her feline housemates and diligently practices each day. Everything changes once the Death Witch shows up. Suddenly, all she can think about is Soli, the snake shifter who sacrificed herself for her.

After becoming the witch’s disciple, Soli gains new friends and enemies. She’s just sworn to protect her mentor’s favorite princess when Ren unexpectedly shows up, and just like Soli, she’s got her own new comrades.

As tensions rise between their opposing factions, will their connection be enough to stop them from destroying each other, or will the pressures from their peers dissolve their bond?
