Early Reviews for The Lemon House Murders

"Tucker May has a way with words in a riveting mix of genres that readers will love. This story begins on an unsettling note and impressed me with the author’s use of imagery and detail. Really fun read! Well-built in world metaphors give the fantasy realm a layered, lived-in feel. Swashbuckling adventures abound. AND a masterful job of building a relatable antagonist. A very well done, enjoyable pirate romp.

I write mostly in the mystery genre, so I love a plot twist. Not all books need them, though. This is a GREAT novel that makes the mistake of shoehorning in a poorly executed plot twist about 5/6ths of the way through. The twist is unnecessary and cl ...more

This book proves that less can be more. Stripped-down prose and a framing device hidden until the end make this a great read about two amoral scoundrels in terrible love.
