Rebecca started life making trouble to read - her kindergarten teacher had to call her parents because instead of napping, she would borrow the chapter book the class was having read to them so she could find out what happened next. She isn't any better about choosing reading over sleep as an adult.

At 45, newly widowed and laid off from her IT job, she started driving for a rideshare company. During the boring parts of her day, she would daydream about writing stories, inspired by the music she played.
