Robert is a writer, public speaker and independent researcher. After two decades spent in the corporate world as a management accountant, he left to study for a Master's Degree in Western Esotericism. He followed this with a PhD in Religious Studies which explores the interplay between Science, Religion, Philosophy and the Paranormal in the late nineteenth century. By investigating early paranormal theories and psychical researchers, he has developed a new typology of the Paranormal Domain. This has proved useful both for scholars of the Victorian period and commentators on contemporary parapsychology and psychical research.

I'm currently writing chapter 7 of The Predictable Return of Dr Oliver Yewtree, the follow up to my first novel, The Fanciful Nonsense of Dr Oliver Yewtree.

It's another cozy paranormal detective story, but this time set against the backdrop of Oliver trying to develop his psychic powers. There are some unexpected consequences of this which show up in later chapters.
