Exclusive Insight for Goodreads

Here’s some added perspective on my latest book and newsletter. It’s all original and exclusive to Goodreads. It’s not a cut and paste from the book cover or any promotional materials. I wrote it because I love to write and context happens to be my current passion. And I write it because I think of the Goodreads reader as a little more passionate about reading and learning. “Whether you are trying to understand the mating habits of the Pygmy Three-Toed Sloth, or life itself, the process is pretty much the same.

The first step is observation. And it’s the most difficult. People are not natural observers. We see, but we don’t observe. All too often we see what we expect to see. Which is both why there is so much strife in the world and why, as any detective will tell you, people make terrible witnesses.”
