Barbara Hanson Clark has enjoyed a diverse career with an emphasis on environmental technologies, first as a chemical engineer, then as a patent attorney working remotely, including as a solo practitioner.

Her greatest joy, however, has come from raising four children and now being a "Grandma" to eight amazing grandchildren. She shares her home in Iowa with Charlie, her golden retriever, and two charming cats, Freddy and Mr. Tibbs.

Barbara loves traveling (including a memorable trip to Antarctica), capturing the world through photography, playing piano, and time with family and friends.
