Rebecca A. Carter is a Spain-born author and musician represented by Alex Land at MWLA. Currently living in Madrid, she dreams of moving north, ideally to the beautiful yet rainier shores of England. Her debut novel, AN INHERITANCE OF LIES, comes out on May 5, 2026 with Lake Union. She writes adult, new adult, and young adult historical fiction, romance, paranormal, speculative, fantasy, dystopias, horror, and dark academia—among many other genres. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her singing, enjoying long strolls in nature, listening to music, baton twirling, lyrical dancing, or pulling tarot cards. Among particular interests, the Titanic, history, bridal gowns, interior design, candles, and cats.
