As wibbly-wobbly and timey-wimey as one would expect. Charming novelisation. I did appreciate the expanded nature of the story and how it dug deeper into the emotions of the Day. Moffat just gets it.

It’s one of those books that completely resonates with me. Heart-warming in parts, depressing in others, but all together triumphantly inspirational.

I would’ve liked it if it was more of the transcripts. It would be nice to get more of the characters thoughts on events. I did appreciate the effort to have a throughline plot to follow in between summaries.

I love a whodunnit and I especially like a Skulduggery whodunnit. I thought that I may need to listen to the original audio version in order to fully appreciate this one. That being said, still a good fun read. Now I’m really excited for Book 17 to c ...more

I love it when there’s an actual, proper case for the Star Crossed Detectives to solve as opposed to case that is either because or for the overall plot. This one is very well self-contained, plays like a fun little adventure while delivering all the ...more

Nice to have an entry with pictures. Could’ve done with this being a short story to add a little bit more depth but overall I think the different format was a positive.
