working on my new project
I'm working on my new novel and while I've kept the entire project secret I'm about to burst with excitement. I'm loving my new characters, their wit, their anger, their guilt, their violent tendency to kill, their heroic efforts to make the world safe. I can't wait to share them with the world! Definitely a story I never thought I'd write, definitely a tale I need to tell!

A rehash of thoughts on bad reviews (it ain't so bad)
To all my author friends who may be feeling down about a bad review I'd like to offer some advice. Go to Amazon.com and search some of the hottest books around classic or new, 50 Shades of Grey, The Davinci Code, Interview with The Vampire, and read some of the scathing reviews. Believe me there are plenty. It helps me remember that some people simply won't like your work, whether it be subject matter or writing style and there are some (perhaps people you even know) who just want to criticize you and have the opportunity through a negative review. Chin up fellow writers, even the biggest selling authors in the world get stung every once in a while if not every day! Appreciate them all for what they are worth: more attention!

Before The Falling
I'm very excited about my soon to be released novel THE FALLING. The Falling is the second in a series of epic supernatural thrillers that chronicles the life of the Morrelini family. The saga begins with my novel, THE RAISED, which is available in virtually every eFormat for only .99 cents in the US and similarly priced according to the corresponding currency in countries around the world. So catch up on the Morrelini family by reading THE RAISED before THE FALLING comes out in just a few short weeks!

Celebrating the one year anniversary of the publication of THE RAISED
I can't believe it's been a year today since THE RAISED was published. Everyday I am rewarded with kind comments and frequent questions as to when Book II will be released. Sometimes it truly feels like a dream and I know I'm going to wake up and realize I haven't even started. But that is the reward of writing. There is always a beginning and rarely an ending. Thank you everyone for your support.

When Fiction becomes Real
I am humbly overwhelmed by the response to Snap. I have received emails and messages from people who have told me personal stories of their own experiences of losing someone in a tragic way like the character Blue Eyes. I have also lost someone who was brutally taken and I felt that justice was not served.
It is a startling reminder that truth is more horrifying than fiction could ever be. We all get angry and we all think about lashing out even though we would never do it. Snap was my outlet for these thoughts and for this anger and I am happy so many of you have found a voice within my words that reflected how you feel. It is my hope that our voice will always be heard and more and more people will listen.
