Did you ever have the feeling that destiny is waiting for you right around the corner? I was turning corners for years - decades, actually - until I ended up writing tweener books in Northeast Ohio and becoming an English teacher. I've been a singer-songwriter in Berlin, a kibbutznik in Israel, a romantic poet in Bennington, a chick-lit short fictionist in Iowa City, a foreign correspondent in Munich and a ghostwriter in New York City. I've taught music to toddlers, piano to adults, singing to teenagers and English as a Second Language to German filmmakers.
