Five Things to Do in March
In March we are still half way between Winter and Spring. Cold rainy days often intermix with lovely sunny ones. The days are longer and much sweeter as well with blooming flowers in the air. We may be tempted to continue to stay inside, bundled up as we have been in the Winter months, but there’s so many other things to do in March! Get prepared for Spring with my top five list -
1) Spring Cleaning!
March is a great time to clean your closet and your home! I have already rotated winter clothes to the back, pulled spring to the forward, and decided which key pieces I need to purchase to round out my wardrobe. I have pulled up the throw rugs to show the marble floors, removed winter throws on sofas, and in general gave everything a fresh look!

Do You Have a Book in You?
When I sat down to document the 30 homes I had lived in over 30 years since my divorce, I was amazed at how therapeutic it was! I found myself looking forward to the evening hours when I could spend time in front of my computer each night, and the words just seemed to flow. I self-published my first book, Thirty Homes in Thirty Years, through CreateSpace, a division of Amazon, and found the experience to be incredibly easy.
Do you have a story or a book in you that you have been wanting to tell? I can’t recommend the process enough. If even for your own pleasure! You could be an author too!

Follow Addy on Her Move to Washington D.C. ….Again
Moving is always an adventure. Moving to a different city, moving across state lines and moving far away - even more exciting. But this is a very Addy thing to do. I tend to pick up and go somewhere, mainly just because I can. And because the adventure is exactly what I crave in life. So I am about to make the move to Washington D.C. all the way from Texas.
It's a path I've taken before, yet I know it this time will not be the same as when I did it in the 90's. Yet my hopes are high that I'll discover things are just as wonderful there as they were before!
Read about my first journey in chapter 15!
Thirty Homes in Thirty Years
This is what I have to look forward to in my move to Washington D.C.:
My fabulous location on Pennsylvania Avenue - This is one of the most beautiful and exciting locations to live at in D.C. Between the Capitol Building and the White House, the location could not be more prime.
My daily run up the capitol steps. What better way is there to stay healthy and fit then jogging through a place you really admire. My good-old route takes me...
