aka F.M. Meredith.

Marilyn Meredith is the author of over thirty published novels, including the award winning Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery series and the under the name F. M. Meredith, the Rocky Bluff P.D. series. She borrows a lot from where she lives in the Southern Sierra for the town of Bear Creek and the surrounding area, including the nearby Tule River Indian Reservation.

For the Rocky Bluff P.D. series, she uses a lot she remembers from her time living on the coast, in a place much like Rocky Bluff.

She does like to remind everyone that she is writing fiction. Marilyn is a member of EPIC, three chapters of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and on the board of the Public Safety Writers of America

Sheriff deputies stopped by to ask if we'd seen her--earlier I'd joked with my son that perhaps the grown kids had buried her in the back yard which son told the deputies. A cadaver dog was brought in and sure enough, mom's corpse was wrapped in a rug and buried in the back yard. The 3 adult children didn't kill her, she died of natural causes (old age), but they didn't want to give up the retirement checks she received. All 3 went to jail for a year and the Fresno Bee interviewed me about the case. (less)

So, so busy!

I've seriously neglected Goodreads and hope to make up for it now.

I've been writing a new book in my Rocky Bluff P.D. series which won't come out until next year, just finished a lot of promotion for the last one--Violent Departures.

Now I have a new Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery ready to debut at the end of the month, Not as it Seems. And of course that means planning promotion for it.

Rick Reed Hi Marilyn. We keep bumping into each other. Are you going to Killer Nashville this year? If so, please look me up. I'm interested in the event in Las Vegas now that I'm located in California and retired. Take care. Stay in touch.

Rebecca Talley Hi Marilyn,

You probably don't remember me, but I was one of your students in the Writer's Digest Novel Writing course many moons ago. You helped me with the first 50 pages of my novel. That novel, "Heaven Scent," is now published. Thank you for your help and it's good to see you here.

Betty I made a comment to you. Wonder where it went?

Anyway, congrats on publishing 20 books! Wow! I only have three published. I placed as many of yours as I could find in my library. Can't wait to read one or all of them. I hope you might add mine to your shelf.

Time restraints at present.

c u soon,
Betty Dravis

Barbara Watkins So nice to meet you Marilyn! Your books sound so intriguing.
