New to blogging part two.
Hello, fellow readers and writers. Today I thought I would pop in and mention I started writing my third fiction book, Cindy Bishop; she is a character in the Smith and Weston series. I am also working on a third Smith and Weston volume. I am finding new ideas for Crime to follow and solve, More on attempting to frame and ruin the reputation of these detectives. These honest, hard-working crime fighters are not interested in buy-offs or pay-offs to bend the law; they are interested in busting the corrupt and bringing justice to them. They are targets for those who are caught in their traps or fear being caught in committing crimes. Detective Cindy Bishop faces gossip and innuendo that is fit to destroy her professionally and personally; she needs to dig into the gossipers' backgrounds and find a connection to their reason for disturbing her. She also faces getting caught in an investigation that Smith and Weston are hot on solving. There's, a point of desperation to solve and find her and the killer. Cindy takes her knocks and refuses to give up or seem weak in the force. I am still researching the first serial killer of our fair city that we know of. I am a believer that there is never a first in the crime, but an existence of the crimes, and it needs to be solved and an end put to these crimes and Charges laid as well as justice to prevail. Let me know what you think of this direction in my books.

New to blogging
I have never written a blog before; this is my first try, so I have a coffee and sit down to read it. I hope to be interesting to anyone who is reading. I have published two fictional books and set them up as serial books. I enjoy crime stories, and that's what I wrote.
I have no formal education in journalism, but I always loved to write. Most of the time, I write about spiritualism and research experiences in a spiritual world. I studied it for eight years and became a minister for that reason. I can counsel others with their questions or worries about living a natural spiritual life. But I got bored writing those experiences and publishing my speeches on Sunday mornings. Covid came and closed us all in. It's very lonely for a retired woman in her own apartment,
So, I joined a few Facebook page writers and started sharing Ideas. I was asked if I had ever written fiction and answered no. Then I was asked to give it a try. I did, based on an old series of Starsky and Hutch, writing an adventure involving these two characters. I ended up developing three major characters out of this story and I gave it a try for a book.
My first book was a disaster in writing. the publisher was rushing, I did not know how to submit changes properly, and the book came out; I hated it and was more annoyed with the errors not being corrected rather than the story I wrote.
I shopped around for a publisher for my second book in the series. I got a good one, and I enjoyed perfecting the story. Of course, the story is a continuance of the previous book with new crime cases, but the same characters. There is romance, and there are grizzly crimes, and it is fast-paced.
I hope I am not boring anyone, but this is my story, the path I have taken. Any comments I get will help me build my blog. I might mention I also write poetry, essays, and sonnets based on my life experience and journey. I was once told to write what you know, and they will read it. And that's what I've done. Thanks for reading my blog, and thank you for any responses.
