Dear friends and Super readers,

Happy New Year’s Eve! We’ve survived 2024! I can’t even wrap my head around it being 2025. For the past couple of months, I’ve had my head in the next book, Star Crossed, which is finally out TODAY!

Thank you, Jesus, for helping me get that one done. The book could double as a weapon, coming in at a hefty 152,000 words. Hugh just kept talking and talking and talking… To be fair, plenty of other people were, too. Kat is s...

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Here’s an ARC!

Hello,

All you beautiful people who signed up for the Star Crossed ARC.I finally have one to share with you! I wanted to get this to you months ago, but this year hasn’t exactly gone as planned. It’s been a good one, just crazy busy. I have not been in the same location for more than 4 months.

A year ago, we buried my dad after a difficult battle with pancreatic cancer. He lasted longer than most, but oh, how he suffered. He passed in early December, which meant we had to wait weeks to bury him...

Black Kat News: Summer 2024

From the Southwest, With Love

Greetings from Sunny Arizona!

Kim here. I hope this letter finds you and your family well.

I’ve been hanging out in the Southwest with my Mom and youngest kids, healing from the loss of my dad. Grief is strange. Some days you feel okay and some days you don’t. It’s been six months since we lost him, but sometimes it feels like six minutes. I’m sitting here at his desk, thi...

Hey everyone, it’s Kim.

I hope this letter finds you and your family well.

I’ve been hanging out in sunny Arizona healing from the loss of my dad. I’m with my mother and my youngest kids. The temps are in the hundreds here now, but we’ve got a pool and we swim every day. No humidity and very few bugs. It’s wonderful!

This past weekend, we celebrated our fourth year of homeschooling by visiting the Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Farm and had a wonderful time. We g...
