But I DO have days when the words I "feel" just don't seem to land on the page. I seemed trapped inside tired phrases or cliched approaches. When I fall in - I'm doing it on purpose because it's my job as a writer.(less)

My First Podcast Audiogram (and it's about werewolves!)

Anyone who produces a podcast has (whether they admit it or not) something I call "audiogram envy" - a longing for those cool little video teasers that include a responsive sound wave graphic.

“I know that ridicule may be a shield, but it is not a weapon.”
Dorothy Parker

Anne Lamott
“Throughout my childhood I believed that what I thought about was different from what other kids thought about. It was not necessarily more profound, but there was a struggle going on inside me to find some sort of creative or spiritual or aesthetic way of seeing the world and organizing it in my head.”
Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Stephen King
“Before it occurred to me that I might actually need an agent, I had generated well over three million dollars' worth of income, a good deal of it for the publisher.”
