Michael Banks is an award-winning journalist who spent 30 years working at newspapers in Kentucky, North Carolina and Mississippi.
He is a regular contributor to South Carolina Living magazine and his work has been recognized by the Charlotte Writers Club and Litmosphere, the journal of the Charlotte Center for Literary Arts.
"Bend In The River" is his first novel.
He and his wife, Danette, reside in Belmont, NC, with a pair of cats who have the misguided belief they rule the roost. ...more
