Sherri Barrett is an artist, author, and former CBS makeup artist who has blended beauty and monsters with her bare hands. With a background in both painting and professional creature effects, her creativity has always lived at the crossroads of the haunting and beautiful.

She began her journey as an artist at the age of nine, often staying indoors to sketch while other kids played outside. That same quiet obsession grew into a lifelong passion for storytelling, a place where she could channel her love for shadow, light, and imagination into vivid, unforgettable worlds.
