Laurie Ann March was an avid backpacker, hiker, trail runner, and wilderness canoeist.
The outdoors wasn't merely a hobby for Laurie — it was her passion. She was an instructor of a wilderness cooking course in which she taught and supported students who were learning the special skills needed to prepare food for wilderness excursions.
In 2016 Laurie hung up her backpack and bought a sailing ketch. She is also a secular homeschool mom, artisan, photographer, book dragon, knitter, and nature nerd. She is currently writing two books. The first is for homeschool parents and the second is in the historical fiction genre.
