Matt Walker writes horror that lingers long after the last page. His stories live somewhere between psychological suspense, gothic horror, and the unsettling realization that the real monsters are often painfully human.

He’s the author of The Noise, Mercy’s Crown, and Once Upon the End, a collection of dark stories that borrow familiar names but take them somewhere far stranger than fairy tales ever dared.

When he’s not writing, he’s usually chasing the next story, overthinking plot twists, collecting notebooks full of ideas he’ll probably combine into one book anyway, or convincing himself that the creepy idea keeping him awake at 2 a.m. is worth terrifying readers with later.
