Writing it as a trilogy…moreThanks for the question, Courtney! I did always know that "Truth or Dare" wouldn't tell the whole story of the Echo Bay girls. Writing it as a trilogy allowed me to give each character and each of the many interwoven story lines their due attention. I liked to look at the overall mystery in the series as a puzzle, so the big question for me was always which pieces to reveal in which book...so it would all came together by the end of the trilogy!(less)

By then, I knew the characters really well, so it felt like returning to old friends. Plus, after three books, it was fun to finally be able to tie up all the mysteries! (less)
