RJ Greyta is a dyslexic author with ADHD who writes emotionally driven stories rooted in honesty, not perfection.

His debut novel, The Mochi Promise, blends first love, second chances, and cross-cultural romance, following a British boy and a Korean girl whose bond grows through friendship, kindness, and quiet devotion. With themes of belonging, neurodiversity, and resilience, RJ’s work centres characters who feel out of place but find home in each other.

RJ is currently expanding his storytelling with Echoes of Empire, a series shaped by the tension between duty and desire. How I made the characters for the Mochi Promise

When I started writing The Mochi Promise, the first character who came to me was Ted. I knew I wanted him to be from London because that’s home for me, and I wanted a character who felt real, not polished or perfect. I really enjoyed this book I really love history books that look at real history and follow real people I really love books also about American history and British and this does both well. A must read if you like American themes.

great book This book is very good I have read a number of books by bakshi and all are great if you love good reads pick this up.

great book If you read anything by Collins you know the books are good. This one kept me reading kept me following kept me wanting more. A must read.

great book I always love to read about china and Hong Kong I lived there for a number of years and it always brings be back, it made me so hungry when I read about the food. The characters are so relatable.nice book a must read
