Stars in their eyes
Getting reviews on a book is a funny old experience. So far, Remodelling Murder is getting mostly solid 3 stars. Now at first, that might seem like a poor showing in this world that we live in where everyone wants perfection and nothing less than 6 out of 5 for everything they do. But on reflection I have decided that 3 stars is actually a decent return. I gave Frankenstein and The Great Gatsby 5

"I picked this book up due to a review I had read that referred to it as a ‘cosy murder’. I got a couple of chapters in, then the meanness of a conversation between a main character and his partner put me right off. It really stopped being cosy for me"
