Tut Fruita writes lyrical fantasy where maps, memory, and love reshape the world.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on a coastline shaped by sudden storms, Tut learned early that maps are reliable about distance, but never about consequence.
After years spent tracing structure in other people’s worlds—strategy and transformation work that prized clarity over imagination—he returned to the stories he once set aside. Those quiet sketches of old cities, broken borders, and places that remember more than their inhabitants became the foundation of his debut novella, The Cartographer’s Curse.
