A New Title, The Same Story But With New KDP Strategy

The New TITLE is "SUMMER STRANGER".

When I first published this story, I didn’t fully understand what it meant to position a book.
I wrote from instinct. From emotion. From a place that felt deeply personal. But when it came time to share it with readers, I made a mistake a lot of new authors make… I didn’t think enough about how readers actually find stories.
Titles, keywords, categories — they felt like background details back then. Something technical. Something secondary to the story itself.
They aren’t.
They are the bridge between a story and the readers who are meant to feel it.
And mine never quite reached as many of you as it should have.
So this is not a new story.
This is the same book, previously published as SECOND BREATH, now released under a new title that better reflects its heart, its tone, and the kind of love story it truly is.
A quiet, slow-burn romance.
A story about healing.
About second chances.
About two people finding something steady and real when life has already taken so much from them.
When I first released it, I didn’t know how to communicate that clearly. I didn’t know how important it was to choose the right words — not just inside the book, but around it.
This time, I do.
This change isn’t about chasing trends or rewriting the story. It’s about giving it the chance to reach the readers who love:
small town settings
single parent stories
interracial romance
slow burn relationships that grow quietly and deeply
and love stories that feel like coming home
If you’ve already read this story, thank you. Truly. You found it when it was still finding itself.
If you’re discovering it now, this is the version that finally feels aligned with what it always was meant to be.
Same story.
Clearer voice.
A better path to the readers it was written for.
And maybe, this time, it finds you exactly when it’s supposed to.
