Jessi Raye was raised in a small town in Southern Indiana, where quiet nights, close-knit communities, and wide open skies first sparked her imagination. A child of the ’80s and a lifelong lover of everything ’90s, she grew up surrounded by mixtapes, small-town adventures, and stories waiting to be told.

As a teenager, Jessi spent her time writing poems and short stories, eventually studying creative writing in college. Life took a different path when she married, started a family, and built a career in the legal field, where she has worked since leaving college.
