Listen up ladies, when you meet a man then you find out he does things you don’t like, don’t be fakin’ and grinnin’ and acting like what he’s doing is okay just because he may be cute, fine, have nice material things or is good in bed. For example, if he smacks when he eats, and if he belches out loud after eating or drinking instead of covering his mouth and saying “Excuse me,” don’t sit there grinnin’ and acting like that’s cute when you know you’re cringing inside. If you meet a man that never wants to take you out, who’s always calling your house asking you what you’re cooking, and who always wants to sit at your place riding your sofa and bed, don’t be grinnin’ and acting like that sh*t is okay when you know you’re disgusted. In doing that, I'm hoping I can make a lot of people laugh because in this world filled with stress, hardships and tragedies; people definitely need laughter. Of course; and more importantly, I'm also hoping as a writer my words can get people who are behaving in a negative manner to behave much better because there are people doing some horrific, just unacceptable things; especially regarding children and I want to try to help end that behavior if at all possible. Even though you didn't ask; let me also tell you what wasn't that good about being a writer for me. As a writer; for me, I was always thinking and "I could not shut it off" so "I didn't get a lot of sleep." I had to keep a pen & paper with me at all times. Even though I already had all of the chapters in my head; if I wanted to add something here & there, I had pen & paper by my bed; in my car; at the table and at my desk at work so that I could write down anything that came to me so I wouldn't forget it. This process was exhausting and it didn't end until every word was on that paper just like the last gumball coming out of a gumball machine. (less)

“First, let me begin by saying that I really don’t appreciate the fact that those in power sat on their rich asses and decided that it would be a good idea to work the shit out of a human being until the age of sixty-five (initial targets of course being the minorities).”
Georgia Madison, Gettin' Down to the "Real" Nitty-Gritty-Life: American Dream or American Nightmare

“Don't you hate it when you're in a hurry and you run to the Express Lane in the store because there are only one or two people there, then one or both of them hold up the line because they need a price check or want to put something back? Then, the cashier has to call the manager for a void. Then, as soon as you make it to the cashier it's time for the next cashier to come on duty so you have to wait for them to exchange cash registers?”

“Ladies, have y’all ever dated a brotha who always wants to come over to your place to eat your food, ride your sofa and bed, and he never offers to bring you anything (not even a six pack of soda or a loaf of bread), and he never wants to take you out anywhere?”
