Romance Week, Romance Books and Romance Characters
It's Romance Week on GoodReads! I love reading about new romance books, new authors and great characters. I'm a voracious reader and though I read many genres, I prefer books with romance in them.

One of my favorite books is The Borne Identity. Not a traditional romance book, but the romance in it was amazing. I love how they needed each other.
More recently, I read a book by Lisa Kleypas called Marrying Winterborne and I freely admit that I have now re-read that book several times. Sometimes I'll just pick it up and re-read certain scenes. She has another book in the Ravenels series coming out this month called Hello Stranger and I just can't wait to read it!
I'm often asked what romance authors I read and I hate answering that because I always forget someone. But, I thought I'd mention a few that I have on my mind today. I love Lisa Kleypas of course. Nalini Sighn, MaryJanice Davidson, Nora Roberts, Jane Austen, Jayne Ann Krentz, Sylvia Day, Lucy Monroe, JR Ward, Maggie Shayne, Brenda Novak, Karen Rose, CL Wilson, and so many more. I'm sure I'm going to kick myself later when I realize I missed someone!
I'd love to know who YOU feel is your top romance authors that you love to read.
Since today is Valentine's Day I thought I'd ask you which character from any of my books you'd choose as your Valentine?
Here are some ideas for book boyfriend/Valentine!

How to Date a GhostWalker
In celebration of Romance Week and Valentine's Day I thought it would be fun to give a little dating advice.

Have you ever dreamed of dating a GhostWalker? Let me help you with these quick tips and tricks.
Let me know WHO your dream date GhostWalker would be with! Where would you go on your first date?
How to tell if dating a GhostWalker is for you.
1. You must be willing to accept an alpha male/female. Or at least convince him/her they’re in charge.
2. Be willing to travel at a moment’s notice. And spend long, leisurely nights alone with your own personal GhostWalker.
3. Have an understanding and acceptance to go… deep undercover.
How to prepare for your first date.
1. Wear clothing that either distracts or conceals. Bonus points if it does both.
2. Expect the unexpected. Some GhostWalker “gifts” are worth the surprise.
3. Be flexible. The more flexible, the better.
What type of gift might you give to your GhostWalker date?
1. If you can’t BE the flower, bring the flower. There’s just something about flowers…
2. If you’re going to cook as the gift, be sure to use Nonny’s Favorite Recipes book.
3. Your GhostWalker may suffer from aches and pains. Perhaps a full body massage?
How to end your date with a GhostWalker.
1. Allow your GhostWalker to do a complete and thorough search of your home if he/she insists.
2. Allow your GhostWalker to do a complete and thorough search of YOU if he/she insists.
3. Why in the world would you end your date?

Don't forget to tell me about your dream date with a GhostWalker!

The Love of Books: Celebrating Romance Week on Goodreads!
Share The Love Theme

It’s Romance Week and I thought it would be fun to find out more about what you love! I’ll share my favorite books, couple, movies and songs throughout the week and would love to hear what yours are!
Before we get started I hope you'll check out the article I contributed to-Starter Kit of Reads for Romance!
The Love of Books
I’ve been reading for as long as I can recall. My first romance book was-
The Harvester by Gene Stratton-Porter.
The first romance I ever tried to write was-
It was a mystery. The love story was really more of a crush story since I was only ten when I wrote this story. LOL
My favorite classic romance is-
Pride and Prejudice
A romance novel I would recommend is-
There are two that I’d recommend.
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
And one I read just recently – Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
My favorite romance couple from a novel I did not write is-
Eve and Roarke from JD Robb’s In Death series. I know so many people love this couple and I’m one of those people. They are such a romantic and well-developed couple.
Why I love the romance between Malichai and Amaryllis because-
There’s this connection that clicks into place when you find that person who completes you. This couple have that.
One is strong in a way the other needs.
Malichai needed his own “Nonnie”. Someone who’d take care of him and be happy doing it. He needed to belong to someone he could trust completely. He needed someone to fight by his side.
Amaryllis needed something Malichai had in abundance, family. She wanted to belong. To have friends. She’d been denied things like tenderness and trust. As they learned more about each other, she found those things in Malichai.
They were a romance puzzle in a way. There were blanks that needed to be filled and together, each supplying the other’s missing pieces, they were a complete picture.

Please be sure to share YOUR answers with me!

Romance in Movies: Celebrating Romance Week!

Though I don’t watch a lot of television or movies, I do occasionally watch them. I’d really love some recommendations for RomCom movies with a happy ending!
My first romance movie/television series that I fell in love with was-
Pride & Prejudice the 1995 mini series with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle

My Top 4 Romance movies I’d recommend are-
The Holiday
The African Queen
The Last of the Mahicans
Moonstruck

Of all of my novels, which do you think would make the best movie? Best mini-series?
