Like me or not, I will awaken as who I am each morning.

One of my poems:

Is This Love

My thoughts continue to cycle,
As my soul searches for its partner.
Can a heart really feel love?
Or does it throb only to provide juice to our body?
To supply one with liquid.
Thick, dark fluid capable of giving or taking our existence.
I must trust what I feel. I'm not complete.
There's emptiness.
Another portion of me has come into focus.
Awakening a hunger which I thought could never be fed again.
What I wouldn't offer in return,
To exist in time with my destiny. ...more

The book was written for a young child, around the age of seven.

A book about a lonely little girl whose father brings her a Capuchin Monkey home from one of his business trips.

She takes care of it and treats the monkey like a sister, not a pet.

She learns about the power of love and how much it means if someone she loves gets hurt.
