George Jacob Jung, nicknamed "Boston George", was a major player in the cocaine trade of Pablo Escobar's Medellín Cartel from Columbia to the United States during the 1970s and early 1980s. The 2001 film Blow, starring Johnny Depp portrayed his story. Jung was released from prison on 2 June 2014 after serving nearly 20 years of a 60-year sentence for conspiracy (drug-smuggling) at Otisville Federal Prison (Mount Hope, NY) and Federal Correctional Institutions in Anthony, TX, and Fort Dix, NJ. ...more
