November 11 is Veterans Day. This marks Julia Quinn’s 15th annual giveaway celebrating readers within the United States armed forces. Veterans, service members, military spouses, and Gold Star family members are invited to enter to win their choice of JQ novels.

Julia Quinn was a guest of HM Queen Camilla at The Queen’s Reading Room Festival at Chatsworth House. This exciting event, held last month at the stately home known to the world as Pemberley from 2005’s Pride & Prejudice movie starring Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen, featured such luminaries as Jojo Moyes, Helen Fielding, and the late Dame Jilly Cooper. JQ was honored to speak with Dame Jilly at dinner, telling her about her first experience with her books (Riders) while at boarding school in Gloucestershire.

As if that weren’t exciting enough, the first poster for Bridgerton’s Season 4 was released! It’s the Lady in Silver at the masquerade ball…

GORGEOUS BOOK NEWS: the new Bridgerton Deluxe Collector’s set has begun! The Duke and I went on sale October 7. The Viscount Who Loved Me and An Offer from a Gentleman arrive on November 4 and November 25, respectively. The rest of the series will follow approximately once a month.

These books are extra-special as it’s the first time JQ has had a hand in designing her own books. In addition to the beautiful William Morris inspired covers, each book contains a custom, full-color family tree, designed by JQ’s sister Emily (using art created by their late sister Violet).

All eight titles are available for pre-order, and you can get them autographed at JQ’s home bookstore, University Book Store in Seattle. All books ordered at UBS will be signed (and personalized, if you wish) in a color to match the book cover. Please note that you will receive your books after the LAST book that you order is published. In other words, if you order all eight books, you will receive them as a set when On the Way to the Wedding is released. If you want the books as they come out, you need to order them one at a time.

Meet JQ in Boston! JQ will be speaking at the Boston Book Festival on October 23, 2025. This is her last public appearance in 2025. 2026 dates will be added soon to the Events Calendar. Look out for events in Des Moines, IA; Kennewick, WA; Spain, the Netherlands, and Sri Lanka!

BIG SHOW NEWS! It’s official! Netflix has renewed Bridgerton for Seasons 5 and 6. This means two more Bridgerton siblings are guaranteed their love stories onscreen. No word yet on when those seasons will air, but we DO know that Season 4 will premiere in 2026. It’s still a long way away, so in the meantime, please enjoy this brand new clip of Benedict’s first sighting of Sophie. (And then backtrack to the beginning of the book — JuliaQuinn.com’s Offer from a Gentleman excerpt will take you right up to that very moment when he first lays eyes upon her.)

Sophie!  An Offer from a Gentleman fans, meet Yerin Ha, who has been officially cast as the Season 4 lead love interest to play opposite Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton. — and just today, Netflix posted some wonderful photos of Luke and Yerin (and some new cast — see below) in a Tudum article that enchantingly begins, “The fairy tale is officially beginning.”

If you’ve read the book (or at least the JuliaQuinn.com excerpt), you’re familiar with Sophie Beckett (A.K.A. the maid with a hidden past, A.K.A. The Lady in Silver) has been reimagined for the Netflix screen as Sophie Baek.

Sophie’s Backstory: The Prologue and Chapter One of An Offer from a Gentleman (book 3 in JQ’s Bridgerton series), begins with Sophie, but as Netflix’s BRIDGERTON Season 4 is all about Benedict, JQ has extended her online excerpt to include the beginning of Chapter Two, in which we meet our hero at a certain masquerade.

In the Prologue and Chapter One, readers will also meet Araminta, Rosamund, and Posy, who figure significantly into Sophie’s life and throughout An Offer from a Gentleman. Just today (in the aforementioned Tudum article), the casting for these characters were announced:

And lest we ignore Seasons 1, 2, and 3, JQ is absolutely delighted about the inclusion of lines from the books in the show, as recently reported in People Magazine.
