The Camp Re-release: New Cover and Preorder Live!

After the struggle surrounding Torquere/Prizm Books going under, I lost control of my Young Adult novella The Camp. However, the dispute has now been resolved and the old version of The Camp is gone from Amazon. This paves the way for a release I can finally earn royalties on. To celebrate, I commissioned a snazzy new cover and am creating a paperback edition of this novella for the first time!

Without further ado, here’s the new cover for The Camp:

A Tale Of Two Cats

Meet Harvey.

Harvey had a tough life. Front declawed by a previous owner, he ended up in a shelter. When we visited the shelter, the volunteers told us he’s a lovely cat… with a problem. Harvey will be happy and affectionate one moment, then, with a vicious growl, will turn and bite. He can’t be around other pets or children without growling and biting. The volunteers were convinced he was going to spend the rest of his life at the shelter. He’s already spent a year (out of his 8 year life)...

Now, for your non-regularly scheduled update!

I’m here with some great news:

Break The Chain has been picked up by Less Than Three Press for publication! Excited? I hope so! Break The Chain is an m/m romance novel set in a world where modern slavery is controlled by an organization called the Circle. Avery is the heir to a shipping company and its fortune, but is enticed by the idea of living a life entirely out of his control. However, the fantasy soon becomes a nightmare, and Avery’s only hope at freedom lies with a corrupt ex-cop turn...

Review: Heart Of The Lost Star by Megan Derr

The Heart of the Lost Star (Tales of the High Court, #3)The Heart of the Lost Star by Megan Derr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Every now and then you’ll come across a book which will make you feel like the author looked into your soul and created a universe just for you. These books are special treasures and Heart Of The Lost Star is one of those books for me.

I really just want to write KAMIR!!! followed up by a whole row of hearts, but I’ll try to sound at least mildly professional for the tone of this review, because you probably want to know if you...

Review: Trans Liberty Riot Brigade by L.M. Pierce

Trans Liberty Riot Brigade (Brigade, #1)Trans Liberty Riot Brigade by L.M. Pierce
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received a free edition of this book through Story Cartel in exchange for my review, which is very, very late. This hasn’t affected my review or rating in any way. In fact, this book is so awesome that I wish I’d paid for it.

I was incredibly excited about this book. Intersex characters in a dystopian future with the most beautiful cover I’ve ever seen? Oh, I was *in*.

Despite my lofty expectations, this book did not disappoi...

Miniature status update

Yep, it’s me. I’m behind on my newsletter and Written In Sand has been out for months without so much as a release date frenzy from me, but I’m still here. Most importantly, I’m still working on words. Currently in the works are an F/F story that seems to want to become a novel, and I still have an M/M novel I wrote earlier in the year that needs a home with a publisher. I also have around 8000 words that was the start of a NaNo project that went sideways due to time constraints. All of these...

Politics and Pages

I don’t really like talking about politics. There are lots of voices already out there who can express themselves much better than I can. That said, there are times when the situation calls me to action. President Trump’s Twitter announcement that transgender people would no longer be welcome in the military was one of those moments. I sat in my hotel room on vacation thinking: “what can I do?”

As a writer, and a non-binary person, I feel encouraged to support my community in the best way I k...

I hope so, because I’m pleased to announce every subscriber to Infinite Love Letter gets a free M/M short story called Classified Connection!

When Aron creates a classified ad online hoping to find romance, he knows he’ll probably end up with a one night stand. So when Graham shows up at their agreed meeting place with a ring mark on his finger and wants to go straight to a hotel, Aron is not surprised. However, things are rarely as they seem and Aron is about to make a connection he never...
