Other languages

Authors--

I have had some sales in foreign languages. Some of my books are easier to convert than others, but with translator aps as good as they are today, it could be a cost-effective way of getting your stories out there. What I've also noticed is that the libraries pick up the books more often than the individual sales (Draft to Digital allows you to expand through Overdrive, Odilo, BorrowBox, and Palace Marketplace), so it is easier than ever. Good luck!

Josh Anvil Spanish Translations

So far the first two books are out, along with their audio versions. I plan to have all five books translated into Spanish when all is said and done, though that will take some time. So feel free to invite your Spanish speaking friends to take a look!

Josh Anvil Book 5: Josh Anvil and the Unbreakable Bonds

It has been 8 years since Josh Anvil book 4 was published, and I am working on the final one and plan to publish it later this year. I have the scope, sequence, outline and most major details fleshed out, and the book is coming along fairly well. The real challenge of a reader is putting up with authors like me. I find myself branching into other books (squirrel!) before a series is complete. Apologies. Then life happens. You move. Go to school (again). Get a different day job (again), and find that time for writing books is rather limited. But when all is said and done, I love writing stories and don't plan to stop. Ever. So thanks for your patience and I hope the waiting will be worth it.

The Legend of Kalaj

This summer I've had enough time to complete the second part of the story about Skaluni. This one is called The Legend of Kalaj, picking up right where The Legend of Skaluni left off. I'll not spoil the first one, but if you haven't read it and are curious, take a look at the reviews.

The Legend of Kalaj is scheduled to be released on August 9, and it is first-person narrative of Kalaj, who cared for Skaluni when he was a young child. Now she is bitter, angry at her tribe, and wants to be left alone. Once their floating island-in-the-sky lands on Ayash, that is.

The story deals with vengeance, anger, bitterness, and forgiveness, with a bit of humor mixed in. If you are interested, I hope you take a look.
