New Angie Bartoni Book due soon
I am working on a new Angie Bartoni book and hope to finish it soon. I just love this feisty detective who isn't about to take any guff from anyone. She doesn't profess to be a 'tough guy' but she knows how to be assertive and knows when to fight and when to let it go. I love her wit and sense of humor when everything seems about to go South.
The next book is "Nothing to Lose" and should be out by the end of the month.

Angeline Bartoni
Maybe three more chapters and the next Angie Bartoni Case File will be finished. I always hate to wrap up a book. It's kind of a let down when you finish it. The first couple of books I was kind of excited when I finished them but now I hate to end them. I get involved with the characters so saying goodbye is kind of hard.
On the bright side. I have a cool Sic-Fi techno thriller I'm working on in my brain. I started thinking about it a couple of days ago so I guess that's a good thing. When I finish Angie I can move into the next book.
It will have all new characters so that will be fun to develop them.

Just Blogging along
Actually I have never had a blog so I have no idea what to really put in it. My author's profile pretty much tells you a bit about me.
I have only started publishing books for a couple of years now. I was too chicken to even try. The thing is, when you are a small time author you have to do everything pretty much yourself.
I have no agent, no research assistants, no professional proof readers, no editors and all the neat things the big established writers have.
So what I have to do is several things. One is to get feed back from readers that have constructive comments. 'YOUR WRITING SUCKS' is not exactly helpful. It may be true but hardly helpful.
The only way I know to get better is to learn from each book I write. I am open to any suggestions or comments that will help me become a better writer. I don't do this for a living. (It's a darn good thing). I do it because it is a creative out let that I really enjoy.
Now when I hear voices in my head, I can say it is dialogue for a novel I am thinking of writing.
So this is my first post as a blogger or whatever the proper term is. I am working on a new book in the Angelina Bartoni Case Files series. It's petty unusual but It has been fun. I like that series because it is light and fun to read.
