Philip Pullman
“I'm trying to undermine the basis of Christian belief... I'm not in the business of offending people. I find the books upholding certain values that I think are important, such as life is immensely valuable and this world is an extraordinarily beautiful place. We should do what we can to increase the amount of wisdom in the world.

[Washington Post interview, 19 February 2001]”

“I can be a regular bitch. Just try me.”
Stieg Larsson, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

Anthony Rapp
“Grief does not expire like a candle or the beacon on a lighthouse. It simply changes temperature.”
Anthony Rapp, Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss and the Musical 'Rent'

David Hockney
“I think I’m greedy, but I’m not greedy for money - I think that can be a burden - I’m greedy for an exciting life.”
David Hockney

Light
The visible reminder of Invisible Light.”
