When she created this page, Anna Grace Bolland was an artist, Shakespearean actor, and, of course, author. She wrote her first book during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), and participated in the challenge religiously as a teenager. Now, she writes more casually in between assignments for college.

To find her recent (and all future) works, look for Grace Bolland on GoodReads and Amazon.

Her first novel, Pandora's Box and Other Problems, was written when she was 13, with the sequel novella, The Real McCoy, to follow a year later. Both are available on Amazon.com in the same volume - either in eBook or paperback format.

No, I'm kidding! That only happens about 20% of the time. If I encounter writer's block while I'm writing, I take a break from writing for the day. If I'm still stuck after a few days, I'll look back over my plot and see what seems to be causing the hiccup. More often than not it's a plot-twist which has no place being where it is. :)(less)

Edith Sitwell
“I am not eccentric. It's just that I am more alive than most people. I am an unpopular electric eel set in a pond of catfish.”
Edith Sitwell

Edward Gorey
“I really think I write about everyday life. I don't think I'm quite as odd as others say I am. Life is intrinsically, well, boring and dangerous at the same time. At any given moment the floor may open up. Of course, it almost never does; that's what makes it so boring.”
Edward Gorey

Robert Bloch
“Despite my ghoulish reputation, I really have the heart of a small boy. I keep it in a jar on my desk.”
Robert Bloch

Arthur Conan Doyle
“One's ideas must be as broad as Nature if they are to interpret Nature”
Arthur Conan Doyle, A Study in Scarlet

Ashleigh Brilliant
“My life has a superb cast, but I cannot figure out the plot.”
Ashleigh Brilliant
