IN SUPPORT OF MENTAL ILLNESS.

A few months ago, I published a small book of poems on behalf of Oliver Moran; a guy who suffers with many mental health issues but who is incredibly talented when it comes to penning a few verses of rhyme.

His book, entitled "Out of my mind" (priced at a meagre £5.99) has been available on Amazon for some time now, although it has been a tad difficult to make people aware of this little gem ... until now.

Following on from a recent photo shoot, Oliver's story is now picking up massive momentum and has featured on various websites from the Greater Manchester Police to ITV (a major television company) with the latter doing an interview with Oliver and myself last Friday.
My FB page and Twitter account have become awash with likes, shares and encouraging comments and I would like to thank all those people who have taken the time to add their words of support.

For those who don't know about this feel good story, I would encourage you to click on the ITV.COM link below and read all about it.

http://bit.ly/2aLQOi6

Alternatively, you can now watch the interview.

It would also be nice if you could find it in your hearts to purchase a copy of Olly's book as this will not only help raise funds towards mental health awareness (via the charity MIND) but give Mr Moran a massive spiritual lift.

The book contains 30 poems and can be purchased from Amazon using this link http://amzn.to/2aVZA83 or by visiting www.padavies.co.uk

It would also be appreciated if you could share this small blog with as many people as you can and see if we can make Oliver a superstar in his own right.

Heaven knows he's due some happy times!

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes.

Paul.

A little self indulgence!

Hi everybody in Goodreads Land and I hope that I find you all well?

I apologise for this little self indulgent piece of advertising but I didn’t want anybody to miss out on the potential of a cheap stocking filler this Yuletide … well, that’s my excuse, honest :-)

Now then. As we live in an age where “digital” pages of a book (as opposed to physical, paper ones) are fast becoming the people’s choice of a way to read, my fourth novel “Nobody Heard Me Cry” will soon be joining my other 3 novels (Letterbox, George. A gentleman of the road and The Good in Mister Philips) in the ever growing Amazon Kindle store!

This is currently in development but will be out in time for that all important Xmas download and is priced at a mere £2.99 … less than the cost of your average Eggnog Latte :-)

And in keeping with the Xmas spirit, all my other novels currently available in the Kindle store have now been reduced to £2.99 as well … the joy just keeps coming!

All the links to the books (and their reviews) can be found on my website http://www.padavies.co.uk or just head on over to Amazon Kindle bookstore and take a look at my offerings there.

Thanks for your support and I hope that you all have a great xmas and an even better New Year.

Take care.

October 3, 2014

New book update.

My new novel, "Nobody Heard Me Cry" is due out on 24th October 2014 and can be pre-ordered by using the link on the home page of my website.

This is part one of a two part series and for those who don't know what this particular book is about, then here is the blurb just for you.

Once upon time, or so it began, there was a schoolboy with untold academic potential,a young girl with two loving parents and a respectable middle-class family man with a comfortable existence.

Three different people living three different lives.

But that was once upon a time!

Inspired by actual events, this is the story of how fate dramatically altered the course of those lives and brought them together in a different world; a world filled with violence, drugs and prostitution, a world where hopes, dreams and fairy tale endings
have no place.

A world, where nobody hears you cry.

To pre-order please visit www.padavies.co.uk

Thanks everyone.
