I’m an I.T. Engineer (Hero), from Lubbock, Texas (by day). This novel began life as a short story to pass the time while I was visiting my wife in the hospital (when she slept, I wrote). I went on to complete five short stories, and I printed them out and put them away... But Trish would not leave me alone… She kept putting more words in my head, and soon I had the bug to flesh out BROKEN DREAMS, and see what kind of trouble Trish could get into (with my help of course). I am going to do the same with the rest of my short stories. Who knows... We may even have to visit Trish again a few more years down the road.

I love all things Stephen King, and I know that already puts me at odds to some!
Joyland was a great read for me. I liked being taken to the East Coast in the 70's and I really felt like I was engaged and understood Devin Jones (the protagonist).

I just finished it last week. My daughter has read it a couple of times, and she thought since I served in the Air Force, that I would like it, and find it funny. She and I share many things in common, s
