H.R. Krishna was born in Chennai (Madras), India. He graduated in Mechanical engineering from VIT University, Vellore, and ever since then he has been working as an assistant manager in a reputed Bank. He still wonders how he ended up in a bank, but convinces himself that it gives him enough time to write. He started reading at an early age of five after his mother overwhelmed him with tales of Robin Hood, Enid Blyton's works, and Shazam Stories.
Ever since he started writing in 2004 his mind has been constantly working, concocting stories, sketching characters, and assembling wonderful gritty tales.
