Fritz I really liked the first book, and then the second began to wander, worse in the third...and the fourth was completely off the rails. Let's just say that by the fourth book, certain very "scary" monsters aren't even mentioned. As though the author forgot about them. And then I learned that the fourth book wasn't even the end of the series! He could have ended this series 2500 pages earlier.
Other than that, things are great.

Ryan So I am seeing that you liked the first two books in A Song of Ice & Fire but went down hill from there. I am about to try and get into that series right now. Loved the HBO series. Too bad the books get too drawn out. Excited for the new Neal Stephenson book! Hope things are well!
