His specialisation lies in handling complex disputes, both national and international and this for private persons as well as for companies and governments, with a specialisation in arbitration and commercial matters and this during the past 35 years.

He also acted as legal advisor in various arbitration institutions. He advised arbitration bodies and professional organisations, not only in Belgium, but equally in the United States, South Africa, Angola, Dubai, Israel and elsewhere.

He also writes novels.
