MURDER DURING A DRUG DEAL
After stealing and then pawning The Diaries of Pontius Pilate, Jamall Harris and his two friends are set up to take the blame for the murder of two Police Detectives. The three men shoot their way out of the set-up, but now they’re wanted not only by the Police as cop killers, but also by the Crips street gang, who believe Jamall double-crossed them. Desperate, the men steal the scrolls back from the pawn shop they sold them to, kidnap a Professor of Latin and take over a University Lab with carbon dating equipment.

Their demand? Gubernatorial and Presidential pardons in exchange for the original scrolls, translation of the etchings in English, the carbon dating results and their hostages. The Society for Human Enlightenment sends men disguised as an FBI swat unit to breech the lab, kill the witnesses and destroy the scrolls before their content can be made public. Since the Fellowship is in disarray, Jamall and his friends are on their own.

On Wednesday, May 6, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s (UPMC) Chief Medical Officer Dr. Steven Shapiro called upon Governor Wolf to end Pennsylvania’s lock down.

The median age of death from the virus in the state is 84-years old and “The few younger patients who died all had significant preexisting conditions,” said Dr. Shapiro. “Very few children were infected and none died . . . In sum, this is a disease of the elderly, sick and poor.”

“We can manage society in the presence of this pathogen if we focus on these preexisting conditions,” Shapiro added. “What we cannot do is extended social isolation . . .That is before the much greater effects of economic devastation take hold on the human condition.”

The Westminster competition didn’t always award the Best in Show distinction. As records show, not all breeds are created equal when it comes to claiming the top prize. There have been 47 different breeds that won the Best in Show distinction over the years, but just a few have several repeat wins over time. Here are the top 10 breeds that have had the most repeat victories in Westminster dog show history.

10. Sealyham terrier

As we’ll see going through the list, the first several breeds are tied with four wins throughout history. The Sealyham terrier starts off this list. The breed’s most recent win was in 1977. It is generally alert and outgoing with a sense of humor. As its name implies, it’s part of the terrier group. This particular breed hasn’t cracked the top 100 on the AKC’s popular-breed list, perhaps because it hasn’t won the show in decades.

As reported by Townhall, Yitzhak Ben Israel, a Professor at Tel Aviv University and member of the research and development advisory board for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, “plotted the rates of new coronavirus infections of the U.S., U.K., Sweden, Italy, Israel, Switzerland, France, Germany, and Spain. The numbers told a shocking story: irrespective of whether the country quarantined like Israel, or went about business as usual like Sweden, coronavirus peaked and subsided in the exact same way . . . with the number of infected peaking in the sixth week and rapidly subsiding by the eighth week.”

“There is a decline in the number of infections even [in countries] without closures, and it is similar to the countries with closures,” Ben Israel wrote in his paper. “Is the coronavirus expansion exponential? The answer by the numbers is simple: no. Expansion begins exponentially but fades quickly after about eight weeks.”

On March 16, the Imperial College in Britain projected the U.S. would suffer up to 2.2 million deaths from the corona virus that could be reduced to 1.1 million if we shut down the country. Two days later New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo shut down the state.

At a March 24 press conference, Governor Cuomo said “We haven’t flattened the curve, and the curve is actually increasing.” He said New York needed 30,000 ventilators, 140,000 hospital beds (N.Y. had only 53,000 at the time) and 40,000 ICU beds. President Trump thought Cuomo was over reacting and because Trump only sent New York 400 ventilators, Cuomo shouted to Trump, “you pick the 26,000 who are going to die.”

The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington tracks the Covid-19 outbreak and is used by State and Federal Government. On April 8, the IHME found ventilator usage in New York on April 8 at 5,000 ventilators (not 30,000.) ICU bed usage peaked just under 6,000 (not 40,000) and total bed usage peaked under 23,000 (not 140,000).

“Breitbart News compared projections of the number of regular hospital beds needed to treat coronavirus patients made in the Friday, April 3 iteration of the IHME model for nine states to the actual number of cumulative hospitalizations (a number that includes current regular bed hospitalizations, current ICU hospitalizations, previously hospitalized and released patients, and previously hospitalized and deceased patients) reported by the respective health departments in those states as of Thursday, April 2.

The results showed that the actual number of cumulative hospitalizations as a percentage of regular hospital beds needed projected by the IHME model ranged from nine percent in Tennessee to 47 percent in Florida. Even in New York State, the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, the actual number of cumulative hospitalizations as a percentage of regular hospital beds needed projected by the IHME model was only 37 percent.”

“Data released by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene on Wednesday revealed that the vast majority of coronavirus patients, who were treated at NYC facilities but ultimately died as a result of the virus, had at least one underlying health condition.
The data, which reflects events and activities as of April 1, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. ET, showed that the majority of coronavirus-related deaths in the city — 1,139 based on the data provided in the release — involved individuals with underlying illnesses or conditions. Those, according to NYC Health, include lung disease, cancer, diabetes, immunodeficiency, heart disease, hypertension, asthma, kidney disease, and GI/ liver disease.” Breitbart News.
