Heath Carnes lives in Tucson, Arizona with his wife and two children. He finds inspiration for writing everywhere he looks in the glory of the Sonoran Desert and in the struggles of the world around him. Everyday people find themselves in tough situations everyday. How they survive and grow defines their character…in life and in print.

Heath grew up in Texas and Oklahoma and was blessed to live the life of a city kid during the school year and as a farm worker and oil pumper’s assistant during the summers. After a short Army National Guard stint as both enlisted and officer, he received a BA in Journalism at the University of Oklahoma.
