It’s a spirited holiday season
My final event of the year will be this coming Friday, November 21, at 3PM at the New Georgia Public Library. Please come out and join me as I talk about “Holiday Hauntings.”
We all know Saint Nicholas. Many people know of Krampus as it reemerged into the zeitgeist, but there are many other things – darker traditions that wait just below the lights. I’ll explore some of these terrible creatures that prowl the wintry landscape. Hope to see you there.

Raven’s Lore Books Summerween Wrap-up
Big thanks to everyone who came out to Raven’s Lore Books in Calhoun for their first ever Summerween. It was a great time. I was able to meet some new readers, some new writers, and got to catch up with some friends. I also got to sit beside, Rico, one of the bearded dragons that guard the book horde.
If you’re ever in Calhoun, run by Raven’s Lore. It’ a great bookstore with a lot of awesome books, including a few of mine. My next show is going to be the Acworth Book and Storytelling Festival on August 23rd.
Enjoy this picture of Rico, and I’ll see you somewhere out there on the book trail.

New Review and Upcoming Events
You know how much I enjoy reader reviews. This 5-star review just popped up on Goodreads for Reaper of the Harvest. “A gruesome story of small town comeuppance. Violent and gory, this book scratched that horror itch. Played with several tropes in a way that felt new and fun.”
Always like to know readers are happy. If you’d like to give Reaper of the Harvest a whirl for this coming beach read season, you can snag a copy here.
Also, I have 2 exciting events coming up toward the end of this month. You can see me on June 21st (Free RPG Day) alongside with 2 other authors at The Crazy Book Lady in Acworth, GA. I’ll be there from 12-4. On June 28th, I’ll be at Raven’s Lore bookstore as part of their Summerween event. Raven’s Lore is an indie bookstore located in Calhoun, GA. Us independents gotta stick together.
You can find out more about The Crazy Book Lady here, and Raven’s Lore here.

I hope to see you at one of these 2 fun events.

Knoxville wrap-up
Knoxville Book Festival was last weekend, and it was a great show. I got to meet alot of new readers, some new writer friends, and hang out with writer pals. Gathering with other creatives is always refreshing and a great way to recharge those creative juices.
Next week, on April 16th, I’ll be discussing writing and publishing books at the New Georgia Public Library at 2:30. If you’re in the area and available, swing by and ask whatever questions you have. If you aren’t gonna be in the area, feel free to always ask me a question here.
I’ve got more stops planned out this year, where I’ll be shaking hands and selling books. Sign up for my substack to get my monthly newsletter with updated details on all my appearances. You can find the sign-up here.

What do you think?
I recently was approached to create a themed recommendation list based on my novel Friedkin’s Curse for Shepherd.com. The topic that I chose was classic monsters in modern settings because Friedkin’s Curse has that, but it’s also something I enjoy reading. You can check out my recommendation list here.
Shepherd.com is a project that the creator developed because of his own frustration with Goodreads and Amazon (who hasn’t been there), but they’re interested in helping people discover books and new authors. I encourage you to go check out Shepherd and see what you think for yourself.
Also, if you’ve read any of the books on my list, what do you think? Did I do a good job or were there other books you’d rather see on this list?

We love reader reviews
My latest book, Citadel of the Cyclops, has received its first review. An Amazon user left a 5-star review and stated: I really loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. Constant action kept me on the edge of my seat. Definitely recommend this book to others.
You can click here or on the cover below to pick up your own copy.
I’ve gotten 2 new reviews for Reaper of the Harvest on Goodreads.
One 4-star review says: I don’t think it was too scary but it reminded me of supernatural and I love horror with pagan gods and this scratched that itch perfectly! I also got mine signed so it’s all the more important to me and it was a delight to read!
While a 5-star review from Jen reads: I was hooked from the beginning and honestly didn’t want to put the book down, and found the ending to be refreshing, because it was completely unexpected.
Click here or on the cover below to snag your copy and see what lurks within the cornfield.
If you’ve read any of my books recent or older, I always appreciate a review. It helps other people find my books and gives some insight on if I’m an author worth taking a chance on.
Stay tuned faithful reader, as I get ready to drop a plethora of fall dates on you for upcoming appearances and events. Until next time.
