Hi Karin,

Thank you so much for your email! I'm glad you're enjoying book one and hope that you find numbers two and three as engrossing. (Three is my current favorite!)

There is a fourth book on the way. I'm not sure what it will be called (maybe "The Midwife and the Assassin," but we'll see), but it should be out in January 2016.

After that, we'll see! I'm working on a book that is not a part of the series, but would be happy to return to Bridget when I'm done! (less)

Hi Kate,

That's a tough one. Oddly enough, I have not sold the UK rights to any of my books, so books sold through Amazon.co.uk are imported from the United States.

While this works for hard copies (and confuses the heck out of me), Kindle books can not be exported in this way. In other words, until a UK publisher decides to publish a book about an English woman written by an American man (which apparently is a problem), there won't be a kindle.

Sorry about that, but I appreciate your enthusiasm.

Best,

The Secret to Writing Conflict

By Nancy Bilyeau

According to what I hear from fellow authors, bloggers, critics and industry wags, book editors are laying down the law: We want more conflict! It’s all about higher stakes now. Drama. Heightened tension. Put your protagonist at greater risk than you ever thought possible. And then ratchet it up again.

To meet the challenge, writers are booking seats at Donald Maass workshops and Read more of this blog post »

“I’d begun to feel the hope and fear that is part of being a parent in this fallen world. We could love our little ones with all our hearts, but love could not protect them from a God who took the young so often and without any warning.”
