There's a new issue of Shousetsu Bang*Bang gone live today -- I've got a story in there, as do eight other lovely and creative authors. The theme is On the Air, which people took in a variety of different broadcast directions, to a variety of different pornographic places. As is always the case with SSBB, stories contain m/m content, tend toward happy endings, and are always absolutely free.

Though the Shousetsu Bang*Bang mission is usually a boy-lovin' one, once a year we have a special issue that's focused on f/f pairings. This year's issue is Earth, Wind, and Fire, and it's out now!

My story is The Red Woman, which is sort of a pre-pre-prequel to another story of mine, The White Palace. It's got magic and dragons and lots of sexy times, so if those things sound interesting, why not give it a go!

I know this isn't exactly the best audience for femslash stories -- all I have to do is look at the stories I've got listed here and see the number of comments on my m/m ones vs. the number of comments on my f/f ones -- but if you're looking to broaden your reading horizons, this is a great place to start. There's six short stories (okay, 'The Red Woman' technically counts as a novella, but the others are 6000 words or less) and they're all different and delightful; also, there's a lot of beautiful and sexy art, and who doesn't like beautiful and sexy art?

I've gathered that many people here prefer to read on tablets and e-readers instead of computer screens. Well, we're currently in the process of digitizing our more recent SSBB issues, and we've got On the Air (issue 47) and Earth, Wind, and Fire (f/f special 10) available for download in .mobi format -- for free! All for free.

Other issues will be forthcoming. If you read a story you like, though, I strongly encourage you to go find that story on our LiveJournal and/or website and leave a comment letting the author know their work was appreciated. Because we're a volunteer-only free publication, we don't pay our contributors, which means the only encouragement they get is encouragement from readers.

There are plenty of things for fans of science fiction, robots, androids, and the future, but there's a huge variety of tales here. They all have sexy, sexy gay scenes in them, though -- and as things to have in common go, that ain't bad.

I totally forgot to mention this here, but another great reason to join the Shousetsu Bang*Bang Goodreads group is that we're doing group reads -- a new story by a new author every week, to remind longtime readers of their favorites and to introduce new readers to the wealth of what SSBB has to offer.

A new issue appears! This one is all about language.

My story in this one is The Exile's Tale and Other Complete Wastes of Time, a combination love story between two Chaucer nerds and epic fantasy novel. Sounds weird, I know, but I'm proud of it, so hopefully people will enjoy.
