Witty, Wanton, Wicked, and Welcome
Greetings, my gorgeous and highly intelligent readers! Thank you so much for joining me here on my new website. I’m so excited to finally have a dot com of my very own. Those of you who’ve been with me since the Bluestocking Ball days, fear not! The old blog has been archived. You’ll find a link to those Very Important Entries around here somewhere (I’m still trying to find the forks and spoons. If you spot that box, give me a shout.).
You’ll notice a new tag line on the home page: Witty, wanton, and a little bit wicked. Sharp-eyed readers (that’s you!) know I love alliteration. There’s typically a gratuitously alliterated passage or two in each of my books. So, when I had the opportunity to update my branding, I couldn’t resist bringing all the W’s to the yard. My characters are definitely witty—their wry observations and sharp banter sometimes take even me by surprise. And you know how I feel about glorious, sensual love scenes, so that’s wanton covered. As for wicked, well…
“Is he a despoiler of virgins, as well?” she fired. “Eats babies at satanic orgies, perhaps?” -Once an Heiress
Thankfully, the object of Miss Lily Bachman’s inquiry isn’t that wicked, but Lord Thorburn just might be a little bit wicked. My heroines love to tweak society’s nose, and often, their heroes aren’t far behind them. But you have my solemn vow that there will be no baby eatingor satanic orgies.
The format of my new blog will be a little different from Bluestocking Ball. I’ll still go on far-flung linguistic adventures when the mood strikes, but I also intend this blog to be a bit more personal, so we can all get to know one another better.
If you haven’t already done so, please join me on Facebook and Twitter, and don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter! I promise I won’t be in your inbox all the time, only when I have news to share about book releases or upcoming events. However, there will be giveaways, freebies, and other fun stuff exclusive to my newsletter readership, so don’t miss out!
Welcome to ElizabethBoyce.com! I hope to see you here again soon.
