Lydia Margett is a historical romance author and creator of the Dreamers and Dukes trilogy. Lydia was born and raised in the United States and moved abroad as a teenager. She studied International Relations and Spanish at the University of St Andrews in Scotland and completed a Masters in Political Science at the Technical University of Munich before settling down in Germany, where she is now a permanent resident. Lydia likes to incorporate her experience working in human rights and foreign policy into her work, weaving in social justice causes into what is otherwise a light and entertainment-driven genre.
