A Michigan author, Daphne writes stories about complicated people, buried secrets, grief, love, and the choices that shape us. Her work spans women's fiction, psychological suspense, and genre-blending stories with a touch of the unexpected.

She is the author of What Lies Beneath the Tide, and Somewhere Without You, with All the Quiet Things forthcoming. When she isn't writing, she lives with her family, one very opinionated cat, and lazy, spoiled dog.
