For example, I wanted to add a supernatural twist to my current work "Bullets and Blades". I needed so ething mutated, monsterous and human so I started with zombie movies, then looked up a few others that might be similiarly related. After a couple of days of movie marathoning I finally came up with the "cannibalistic mutant zombies with semi-superpowers" i was looking for. I believe tjis method works so well because i'm an artist as well and a visual thinker. 98% of my writing is born of "scenes" played out in my head like movies.(less)

Doing that thing I do

Besides writing that is.

Not many people know it, but I am a crafts person. I make stuff. Lots of stuff. Aaaallll kinds of crazy stuff. I have many skills, one of which is making all natural, sulfate free soap.

Every year around this time, I dust off my equipment, lay in some supply, and make soap. This year, however, I'll also be making natural shea butter body lotion and organic dusting powders.
