Dona Watson grew up with a book in one hand, dreaming about imaginary worlds of mystery and adventure. In high school, she found an old copy of "Sword at Sunset" by Rosemary Sutcliff in a used bookstore, fell in love with fantasy fiction and never looked back.

She earned a Bachelor’s in English from Vanguard University and now works fulltime as a writer and editor. Her stories can be found online and in print, including "Angel Songs, 20 Christmas Short Stories and Poems, plus Recipes." Look for her award-winning fantasy novel "The Lightstone of Perlan," soon to be published, as well as short stories online, in ebook format, and in print.
